Riley came from our friend’s at Atlantis Whippets who received him from Sportingfield’s Whippets. Riley is everything we could ask for in a Whippet. He is not only a wonderful pet but also a great show dog and lure courser. He is retired from the show ring but is still crazy for the lure. Although he is older now and doesn’t have the speed that he did in his youth, he has not lost any of his drive and intensity for the lure.
We have been extremely pleased with the puppies that he has produced for us. Not only are they beautiful but also sweet, loving Whippets. Temperament is just as important for us as conformation and health, maybe more. It doesn’t matter how pretty a dog is if it isn’t a great pet for its owner. Riley is enjoying a life of retirement as a neutered pet. He has given us so much. We will always be grateful for his contribution.
